Boyal Cloche Crystal Pendant 5"/8"/10"

Designed this series of timeless silhouettes, each made from one massive K9 crystal. An exploration of material and proportion, the shades are cast in custom molds and are carefully cooled, carved on a lathe, and then hand-polished. The material is converted into a material that can transmit light, giving the still life its presence and calling upon the tools of the scientist.
