Victorian Turquoise Locket Ring

Star-shaped hand-engraved details on the shoulders make this locket ring special. The space beneath the glass is empty; once there was hair but it was in rough shape so we removed it and gave the ring a good cleaning. You can add your own hair, tiny image, or other memento; a local jeweler can help you secure the glass back down. Turquoise cabochons are slightly discolored - in the most beautiful way - by age. MATERIALS: 14k gold (tests), turquoise cabochons, glass AGE: c. 1850 CONDITION: Good - visible resizing mark on the shank, thin crack on the underside of the head (does not compromise the integrity of the ring), glass lens is scuffed SIZE: 6.25, can be resized; 7.2mm head, 1.5mm shank
