Songs from Eric's album "Idaho" were written in an old historic hotel in Lava Hot Springs Idaho. Eric came upon an historic hotel in Lava Hot Springs, ID that spoke to him and ended up staying at The Riverside Inn to write and finish his latest effort – aptly titled “Idaho.” The energy in the 100+ year old building reminded him of the pioneers and cowboys that founded the town – it was like going back in the past and connecting with those early people’s courage and sense of adventure. Eric can relate to that in a way – exploring a new life. These songs are a reflection of Eric and the evolution of his career. It speaks to the big open spaces, the vastness of the sky, the feeling of being everywhere and nowhere at the same time. It is the continuation of Eric’s journey, his evolution and the endless possibilities the freedom of being on the road provides. Released October 25, 20
