As cool as this instrument is, it's limitation is that it has only one octave. But even so many Jazz players and some famous folks have bought them. Like during Yanni's Tribute Concerts around the world. The Bb is professionally tuned and recommended for musicians. The less expensive one is tuned to itself and best played by yourself.  The 17 inch Alto Bamboo Sax has a nice Jazzy sound.
