Chinese Export Four Panel Coromandel Style Screen Ancient Bridge

Late 20th century Chinese export four-panel folding coromandel style screen crafted from thick lacquered wood panels. The screen depicts a painting of an ancient Chinese bridge in a dark golden bronze. The lacquer finish has an intentionally distressed craquelure patina to mimic age. The border of the painting is decorated with a Greek key design. The screen is supported by square legs. The reverse side has a stark bamboo tree in parcel gilt brushwork.
