Dazzling pair of French armchairs featuring carved Louis XVI style frames that have been painstakingly silver leaf finished by hand. The frames have been upholstered with a matching silver metallic fabric on the seat and a Schumacher style geometric velvet fabric in a trellis pattern. The upholstery is bordered with brass tack nailheads with a dark patina. Decorative carved rosettes on the seat apron supported by elegant fluted and tapered legs.
