DETAILS This scarce massive, antique 17th century Portuguese colonial arched altar piece (retablo) is signed and dated by the Portuguese artists, along with their self portraits painted on the back of the panels and an inscription. Hand carved winged angels. Retains later old yellow paint and gold trim on teak wood.
