DETAILS Bennett is best known for his work with Daniel Burnham on the 1909 Plan of Chicago. This Indiana limestone neoclassical obelisk was from that project and was salvaged during a recent construction project from the Michigan Avenue Bridge that spans the Chicago River along Wacker Drive downtown. A similar obelisk is shown in the last photo. The bronze lights on this obelisk were recently cast from the originals. MAKER Architect: Edward H.
