DETAILS This grand, antique French fireplace surround is finely carved in oak and has a tall, carved mirrored overmantel with porringer corners on the deep cornice. The firebox features an ogee arch and carved scrolls and details. Salvaged from the original Old Hollywood home of singer, comedian, and star of film, theater, and radio Fanny (Fannie) Brice (American, 1891-1951). She was also a popular headliner at Ziegfeld Follies.
