DETAILS An antique Delftware tin-glazed, pottery beer mug or tankard of baluster or pear form with a C-shape handle. The handle retains the hinge mount of the pewter lid. It is decorated with Chinoiserie blue and white floral decoration. MARKS Unidentified mark PERIOD Late 17th century/early 18th century DATE Circa 1700 DIMENSIONS Width 6.5 Depth 4.75 Height 8.5 inches CONDITION Note: no lid. Hairline crack (handle). Typical glaze chips commensurate with age and use.
