Anglo Indian Rosewood Double Pedestal Sideboard

DETAILS This remarkable, antique Anglo Indian sideboard was hand fashioned in an elaborate design, with a tall back board, intricately carved with a pierced, floral design. The inverted breakfront top was made of a single board of solid rosewood and finished with an egg-and-dart edge. Comprised of three drawers, all back-carved with a twining floral pattern, over two cabinets in the double pedestal base, the base is heavily adorned with gadrooning.
