grackles

i made this image one high school year on my birthday in my hometown of san antonio. it's based on a cool photo i took of a bunch of birds who were perched on power lines and suddenly took to the skies as one coordinated flock. the manipulation i did in photoshop was pretty straightforward — made it bw, inverted the colors, and did some nice content-aware fill. i also edited out the power lines for this edition, because they work better when the image isn't inverted. anyway, this canvas print is sure to make a statement in any space. it's hand-stretched on a poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte finish coating. you're gonna love it. • fade-resistant, different from fade-proof, but better than nothing • 20.5 mil-thick poly-cotton blend canvas, cool, sounds good • hand-glued solid wood stretcher bars, nice and sturdy • matte finish coating, so you know that it won't be shiny or anything
