This 1892 edition of The Lady of the Lake, published by T. Y. Crowell & Co., is a true 19th-century treasure. Measuring 4" x 6", it is bound in a floral cloth cover with gold scrollwork on the spine—a beautiful example of the decorative binding style so beloved in the late Victorian era. The cover shows some wear, but rather than detract, it adds to the old-world charm of this volume. The pages are in excellent shape, and the spine remains strong after more than 130 years.  I found this buried at a massive local used bookstore, and it might be one of my favorite old books i've ever uncovered! Condition: Very good antique condition. Cover worn but intact, gilt scrollwork bright, spine firm, pages remarkably clean for its age.
