We also carry a #1 Prestige tip (for many Asian manufactures) WHICH TIPS SHOULD I PURCHASE?At a minimum, I would recommend getting the #2a, #2b, & #1 Prestige tips. A quality fit tip is paramount to lever & pin control, leading to a faster, more accurate tuning result. DO THE CASSOTTO PRESTIGE TIPS FIT ALL LEVERS?Our new tips are designed to fit:• Cassotto levers• Faulk levers• Reyburn rigid levers• some hale & watanabe heads• some Fujans (not-compatible with levers that mate withstudded/threaded jahn tips)• Jahn heads (you'll just need our tip inserts)• and anything with a true 3/8 30 thread DO THE PRESTIGE TIPS FIT TIGHT?YES. Our metals teams use an EDM PROCESS for a consistent and tight grip. This process uses an electrical charge to create a reduplicate the star pattern perfectly.ARE ALL TUNING PINS CREATED THE SAME?NO. Even high-end piano manufacturers ( I will not name who ) do not have the most consistent tuning pin slopes and diameter. I've seen some pianos with MULTIPLE VARYING WALL ANGLES which would have taken 5 different tuning pins to achieve a snug fit. This is why it's impossible to make a tuning tip which fits perfectly on all pianos but i can say, with confidence, ours fits the best.
