Mexico City, 1955 June 17, 1954. Marciano defeated Charles narrowly. The strength of The Rock prevailed but not enough to avoid a rematch September 17. Both fights at Yankee Stadium this time Marciano stopped Charles in 8th but suffered splitted nose and eyebrows. Those were brutal fights never to be forgotten. I did a composite of the two Champions with the idea of trying to get a Job Illustrating with "The Ring" Magazine of New York but I was not accepted.
