Black Beauty

Location: Iceland The hamlet of Buðir features 1 of the 3 black churches present in Iceland.The church was originally built on the spot in 1703, although a lack of parishioners led to it being taken down. The current church was reconstructed in 1987 and sits near the coastline, surrounded by lava fields.My time in Iceland was a windy one, and this day was no exception.
