Location: Poolepynten, Svalbard Walrus are curious creatures and this guy was especially. We encountered this individual on a morning exploring Prins Karls Land in Svalbard. After visiting a huddle of Walrus earlier. We were heading back to our Zodiac when we noticed one swimming alongside us. Almost excited by our presence, the walrus poked its head out of the water and came towards the shore within a few of meters of us. It was interesting to see a Walrus so sparkling clean in comparison to the ones we'd seen early rolling around in the sand earlier. A great way to finish my first walrus encounter.
