Minerva

Meet Minerva! He and Havahart came to Maddox and Friends from a TNR project they completed in the autumn of 2024. In the beginning they were not friendly, but they could not be released back to their property due to abscesses on their chins. After several tests and rounds of medication, it was discovered they had Enterococcus, and they were able to treat them and get them all cleared up. They stayed with their foster for a little while so they could make them more social and accepting of human company, and they recently came to stay at the rescue. The first couple of weeks they were very scared and would spend most of their day hiding and trying to avoid the volunteers. However, after much love and perseverance from the staff, they are blossoming into sweet, affectionate, and calm cats. Minerva has formed a friendship with one of the other residents, Noam, and can often be found cuddling with him on our laundry rack.
