Pogo

Meet Pogo! He is an incredibly special, resilient boy who came to Maddox and Friends around September of 2024. He was brought to them by a good Samaritan who found him outside with his leg already amputated, and as you can imagine, he was not faring well for himself. He was extremely underweight and was visibly crawling with fleas and losing his fur. He spent several months with a foster who helped get him back up to a healthy weight, treated him for fleas, and returned to us a beautiful, healthy, and affectionate cat! Pogo is sweet, gentle, mild mannered, and irresistible. Your heart just melts for this little guy, especially when you know just how much he has been through. He wants nothing but love and craves attention. He has a tough time jumping up on your lap since he only has one back leg, so sometimes he will fall short. You will just get him plopping his two front paws on your leg and looking up at you like, "Can I give a hand here?" He would cuddle you and let you hold him all
