Larimar Pendant / Slide - PND-0597

This larimar pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire and a larimar cabochon (cab) from the Dominican Republic. This is a big, thick piece of larimar with a lovely shape and a mix of colors transitioning from robin’s egg blue, to white, to green, to red. I think the colors in the pictures are fairly close, but the white is actually more prominent and the patterns very distinct. It’s a pretty stone. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility.  It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold.
