Larimar Pendant / Slide - PND-0599

This larimar pendant is handcrafted from 14K/20 gold filled wire and a larimar cabochon (cab) from the Dominican Republic. It is a big, thick piece of larimar with a gorgeous color. The robin’s egg blue is accented with billowy white. I think the white is more pronounced in person than in this picture. 14K/20 gold filled wire is basically a tube of 14K gold with a jeweler’s wire down the center for flexibility.  It wears well, does not tarnish, and has the same allergy reactions (or non-reactions) as 14K gold.
