When I was a little girl living in Cuba, my father was a city bus driver. One of the beautiful perks of his job was that our family could travel anywhere on the island for free. We didn’t take many vacations, but the few we had became lifelong memories. I’ve always loved the countryside — the calm, the greenery, the simple beauty. But like any true island girl, the beach had my heart. One place I’ll never forget is Cayo Coco, with its powdery white sand, crystal-clear blue waters, and endless tropical skies. It was there that I learned how to swim — a moment of pure joy and freedom I’ll always carry with me. That’s exactly what my Cayo Coco candle captures — the fresh ocean breeze, warm sun on your skin, and the peaceful escape of turquoise waters.
