A member of the Matsumurae group. This cultivar's deeply divided, seven lobed, serrated leaves are purplish-red with an undertone of green. New foliage is yellow-orange with fine pubescent covering until maturity. Leaf stalks and seeds are bright red. This tree reaches 20ft. tall and 16ft. wide in the right growing conditions.
