Sorbitol 70% solution is a natural polyhydric alcohol derived from sugar alcohols from corn. It is a humectant that also stabilizes gels and provides good clarity to cosmetic formulations. It consists of the alcohols D-glucitol & D-mannitol, and is resistant to acids & alkalis. Effective moisturizing properties supporting TEWL, and has good smoothing & conditioning effects. Can support thickening effects of viscosity enhancers. Appearance: Colorless to pale yellow mobile liquid. Lead times vary for 55 gallons and up.
