Colored Grab Bars-Round Bases-for people with visual issues

Colored grab bars are a necessity when designing a bathroom for someone with low vision.  High contrasts make the difference between safely being able to see the grab bars to use them and just grabbing blindly and hoping to grab something solid. Research shows that yellow as a background helps contrasts to 'pop'.  As an OT I find that there always seems to be a color people with low vision can see better than other colors.  I find red to be the most common color people with low vision can see.  Of course, that does not take color-blindness into the equation.  Just an observation.
