Application Steps PREPARATION: Thoroughly prepare the nail, removing any dead skin and loose cuticle off and around the nail plate. Lightly buff the nail with a sponge buffer to remove any dirt and excess shine. Wipe any moisture from the nail using alcohol to prepare it for your gel application. BASE: Apply the Nail Thoughts Tinted Base Gel to the natural nail and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp. OPTIONAL: Apply two layers of the base coat, adding an apex while curing in between for extra durability. OPTIONAL - COLOR: Nail Thoughts Tinted Base Gels are beautiful to wear on their own, but you can also use it as the perfect base for color and/or nail art. Apply your desired design and cure. TOP: Apply Top Coat Gel and cure using an UV and/or LED lamp. Note: If the gel is applied very thick, it can cause an uneven nail surface or air bubbles to form leading to improper curing.
