1800s German Painting on Porcelain Woman w/ Lute Wooden Frame

Presented is a stunning painting on porcelain in a lovely gilded wooden frame. The painting is German, and made in the late 1800s. This piece displays a hand-painted women descending stairs and holding a lute. The frame has a great velvet inner frame in a medium brown. The back of the porcelain is stamped “Made in Germany” and marked with a name that we were unable to identify. The writing in red appears to say After P Wagner. There is more writing above covered by the tape. This piece is in great overall condition. There are no breaks, no cracks, and no problems of any kind. Measurements: The painting measures 6 inches by 4 inches. The frame measures 12 1/2 inches by 9 3/4 inches. -kc
