Presented is a fabulous set of 6 Norwegian silver dessert spoons, with a larger serving spoon. These pieces date to 1879 and were made by David Andersen. The spoons and server have an elegant twist form stem. The terminal of the handle features a design of crossed stalks of wheat, with a flower and what looks like a maple seed, all against a textured background. The dessert spoons have egg shaped bowls. The server has an interesting teardrop shaped bowl, with a rat tail design on the back of the bowl. The back of the handle is smooth, and could easily be monogrammed or presented. This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern on the handle are quite crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
