3pc Towle D'Orleans Sterling Silver Fork Knife Sharpener Roast Meat Carving Set

Presented is an elegant 3 piece sterling silver carving set made by Towle Silversmiths. The set is done in the D’Orleans pattern which was first produced in 1923. All three pieces have sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades or tines. The carving knife and the sharpener are engraved with DRA, and the carving fork is engraved with EWA. This is a very large carving set, I believe it was the largest made in this pattern. The set includes: Carving knife: 13 5/8 inches Carving fork: 11 5/8 inches Sharpener: 13 1/2 inches The carving knife is marked on the blade with Towle Stainless and on the handle with the maker’s mark for Towle and Sterling Handle.
