Antique 1880s Aesthetic Movement Sterling Silver Gorham Olive Serving Fork/Spoon

Presented is an antique, sterling silver olive serving spoon/fork made by Gorham during the late 19th century. This piece was made around the 1880s and is done in a very Aesthetic Movement form. The handle is done in a twist form and the center has a full figural decoration of an olive and its leaves. The leaf form bowl and the tines have a light gold wash and are done in a matte finish. The back of the tines is marked for Gorham and sterling silver. This piece is in excellent overall condition. Length: 9 3/4 inches. Weight: 24 grams.
