Antique 1902 Norwegian 830 Silver J Tostrup Pierced Base Server 9 3/4"

Presented is an antique, Norwegian silver serving piece made by J. Tostrup of Norway during the very early 1900s. This piece is finely hand crafted and both the handle and the pierced base are engraved with flowers and bands of design. The front of the handle has an intricate monogram at the top. This server could be used to serve a variety of foods!The back is marked 830 for the silver purity, J. Tostrup and 1902.This piece is in great condition and the designs are crisp. There is minimal surface wear commensurate with age and use, but no damages and no repairs. Length: 9 3/4 inches. Weight: 108 grams or 3.8 ounces.
