Antique Watson Sterling Silver & ABP American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Bowl

Presented is an antique, sterling silver and American brilliant cut glass fruit, serving or centerpiece bowl made by Watson during the first quarter of the 1900s. The sterling portion is a good weight for its size and is done in an openwork form. The bowl is raised on 4 openwork feet. The glass portion is also antique and the flared rim is cut with a lovely wreath of flowers. The sterling portion is marked for Watson and sterling silver purity. The glass portion of the bowl measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter and the silver portion measures 10 5/8 inches from handle to handle.The bowl is 4 inches tall. The sterling portion alone weighs 266 grams.
