Charming Pair 14k Yellow Gold Sun Clipback Earrings

Presented is a charming pair of 14 karat gold clipback earrings. These earrings date to around the 1980s. The earrings are done in the form of a rayed sun face, or maybe a rayed moon face. The design is well done and detailed, with a matte finish to the face contrasting a bright finish to the rays. The earrings have clip style backs, suitable for wear with pierced or unpierced ears.The earrings are in great condition. The clipbacks have a good strong spring mechanism. There are no breaks and no repairs.The earrings are stamped 14k and with a maker's mark on the clipbacks, and 14k and 'Carla' on the back of the earrings themselves.Each earring is about 3/4 of an inch in diameter.The total weight for the pair is 3.7 grams.-jm
