Elegant Italian 14k Yellow Gold Victorian/Etruscan Style Bangle Bracelet

Presented is an elegant 14 karat yellow gold hinged bangle style bracelet. This bracelet was made in Italy in around the 1950s, though it is made in a much older Victorian/Etruscan Revival style. The bracelet features beautiful applied ropework designs continuously around the exterior, in a delicate floral motif.The bracelet is in great condition. All the applied work is intact and in good shape. The clasp functions well. There was a safety chain at one point but it has been removed, and there is a little spot on either side of the clasp where it was once attached.  The interior of the bracelet is stamped 14k as well as Italy. The bracelet has an interior circumference of about 6 ¾ inches. The band of the bracelet is about 8 millimeters wide. This piece weighs 15.9 grams. -jm
