Exquisite 18k White Gold 2ct Diamond Cat's Eye Tourmaline Ring

Presented is a stunning 18 karat white gold, diamond and cat's eye tourmaline ring. This is a relatively contemporary piece, likely of American make. The focal point of the ring is a gorgeous round cabochon of dark blue-green tourmaline with a prominent cat's eye effect, also known as 'chatoyance.' The effect is really mesmerizing, the photos and video can't do justice to how it looks in person, especially in motion. The cabochon measures about 15millimeters in diameter, and is about 15.75 carats in weight. There are 20 diamonds prong set around the tourmaline, and they vary somewhat in size and cut, though this is hard to notice without closer inspection than the ring would typically get while being worn. Most of the diamonds are transitional or old mine cut, some are modern brilliant. The diamonds average about 10 points each in size, and are VVS to VS-1 clarity and E/F/G color.
