Fabulous 1800s Hanau German Silver Tea Caddy Bombe Form Rococo Style 5 1/4"

Presented is a fabulous German silver tea caddy in a bombe form from the 19th century. This piece displays a great Rococo style with scrolls and flowers throughout the entire piece. The caddy has genre scenes on the larger sides and open cartouches on the shorter sides. The lid has a nice finial and for small cartouches, one on each corner. The underside is marked with German Hanau pseudo marks for Storck & Sinsheimer. This piece is between .800-.900 purity silver. Tested and guaranteed. The tea caddy is in excellent overall condition. The cartouches on the sides are free of monograms or monogram removals, but do have a few very minor dents. The lid closes well. There are no breaks and no repairs.
