Fabulous c1810 Barr Flight Barr Oval Serving Dish Bowl Orange Flower Gilded 14"
Presented is a fabulous large oval serving dish from Barr, Flight, and Barr. This piece was likely produced between 1807-1813. The pattern displays a bright orange wide border with gilded flowers and leaves. At either end is a handle with decorative scalloped edging and sprigs of gilt flowers. Please note, we have other groups of plates and serving pieces by Barr Flight Barr in the same pattern, which you can find for sale in our storefront by searching Barr Flight Barr. This piece comes with a free quatrefoil square server which has been heavily repaired. The piece, however, displays a hand-done mark from Barr, Flight, and Barr that the server does not have. The mark reads: “Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester / Flight & Barr Coventry Street, London / Manufacturers to their Majesties & Royal Family”.
