Presented is a great sterling silver soup or punch ladle from Towle. This piece is in the Old Newbury pattern, which was patented in 1900. The pattern displays a crisp beaded edge and fluted scroll details on either end of the handle. The front of the handle has been monogrammed C, in a Gothic script. The reverse is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for Towle. This piece is in excellent overall condition. The pattern details are well-defined. There are no breaks and no repairs.
