Handsome Pair Chinese 14k Gold & Carved Jadeite Jade Cufflinks

Presented is a handsome pair of Chinese 14 karat gold and jadeite jade cufflinks. Each cufflink is prong set with a round piece of jade in a lovely light mottled green. The jade is finely carved with a stylized design of a bird, like a duck, crane, or heron, all popular Chinese motifs. The gold setting has a bamboo design. The cufflinks have toggle style backs. The cufflinks are in great condition. The jade is securely prong set. The toggle backs have a good strong spring mechanism. There are no chips, no breaks, and no repairs. One cufflink is stamped 14k and 585 on the back, while the other is stamped 14k and a maker's mark or other symbol we unfortunately do not recognize. Each cufflink is about 7/8 of an inch in diameter. The cufflinks weigh 11.8 grams. -jm
