Lovely 1920s/30s Twisted Emerald/Ruby/Pearl Gemstone Necklace, Likely of India

Presented is a stunning vintage necklace made with strands of genuine emeralds, rubies, and pearls, most likely made in India.It dates from circa the 1920s to the 1930s.This piece features a richly woven twisted strand of pebble-like genuine green emeralds, red rubies, and real pearls.  The rubies especially are a great color though heavily included.The way the stones are woven is highly indicative of Indian origin.These gems are strung together with string and also have a braided green, gold, and white piece which rests against the back of the neck.  There is a section of gold-colored round beads adorning each side of the necklace.The necklace does not have a clasp, but is knotted in the back and is worn by slipping it over your head.There are no problems with this piece.  It is in very nice condition.What a rich necklace full of luscious gemstones!Length: 27 inches.Described by: arb
