RARE c1890 14k Gold Freemason Masonic 32 Degree Scottish Rite 4 Fold Fob Pendant
Presented is a wonderful antique Masonic 14 karat gold fob or pendant. This piece dates to around the 1890s. The front of the fob has the cross and crown symbol in red and black enamel with the crown done in white gold or platinum, with crossed swords behind, all against a Templar cross pattee with fine engraved detailing. Around the side is the motto 'In Hoc Signo Vinces' or "In this sign, you will conquer." The cross, crown, and sword part lifts up and the two side arms and bottom of the cross pattee fold outward to reveal a cross in translucent red enamel beneath, with a white rose and green leaves in the center. Above is a black enamel triangle with the 32 degree, which is repeated in black and white enamel on the left foldout. The right has a Hebrew letter against black and white enamel, and the bottom flap has the Masonic compass and square against blue enamel. The back of the fob has a double headed eagle with the 32 degree on its chest and the motto “Spes Mea In Deo Est” or 'M
