Stunning 18k Gold Diamond & Malachite Ring

Presented is a fabulous 18 karat gold, diamond and malachite ring. This ring dates to around the 1960s-1970s and is likely European in make, possibly Italian. The ring is set with 22 single cut diamonds in an oval formation, about 1 point each in size. These are vibrant, dazzling stones, of at least SI-1 clarity and H color, set in white gold so they really sparkle. The shoulders and sides of the setting are set with pieces of rich green malachite, contrasting beautifully with the deep yellow of the 18 karat gold. The ring is very well made and high quality, with great attention to detail. The white gold setting of the diamonds is securely mounted to the ring itself with tiny threaded gold screws, to avoid overheating the malachite with solder, very solid and attentive construction.
