Superb Quality 18k Gold ~.50ct Diamond & Ruby Necklace

Presented is a stunning 18 karat gold, diamond and ruby necklace. This is a relatively modern piece, likely of American make, though we unfortunately do not recognize the maker's mark. The necklace is set with two rows of alternating round cut rubies and diamonds, following the curve of the necklace. The rubies are real, mined-from-the-ground stones, verified by our gemologist. There are 16 rubies, with the stones on the bottom row slightly larger than the stones on the top row, altogether totaling about 60 points in weight. There are 14 diamonds, about 4 points in size on the bottom row and about 3 points in size on the top row, totaling at least half a carat in diamond weight. The diamonds are vibrant, dazzling stones of VVS clarity and E/F color. The rubies are also very good quality stones, very well matched in their rich red color. The rest of the necklace is made up of interlocking gold links, in a sort of brickwork style. The necklace has a tongue insert style clasp, with safety
