Superb Quality Platinum & 1.52ct Three Stone Diamond Ring

Presented is a dazzling platinum and diamond ring. This is a modern piece, likely made in America. The ring is set with three square brilliant cut diamonds, a larger one in the center with a smaller diamond on either side. The ring comes with an appraisal card from the International Gemmological Institute, which gives the size of the center diamond as 86 points, with a clarity of VS-1 to VS-2 and a color of H/I. The side diamonds are listed as 33 points apiece (66 points total) with a clarity of SI-1 to SI-2 and color of I. We feel that the IGI grading of the center diamond is on the conservative side, as our gemologist has examined the center diamond and found only one tiny inclusion of light color (not a black carbon inclusion) internally below the table. This inclusion is very hard to see even under magnification with a good jeweler's loup, and we would grade this diamond as VVS.
