Wonderful 8 Strand Freshwater Pearl 14K Gold Torsade Necklace

Presented is a wonderful torsade-style pearl 14K gold necklace.  The necklace has 8 strands of small, freshwater pearls.  The strands can be worn loose or twisted together for a whole different look.  The clasp is a large, heavy plunger-style clasp in the form of a stylized sheaf of wheat edged with gold roping. This was likely made in the 1960s-1980s. The clasp is marked 14K. Tested and guaranteed to be 14k gold. This piece is in fabulous overall condition. The clasp is very secure and closes with an audible click.  It has a side latch for additional security when worn.  There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no chips, and no repairs. The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long.
