Zuni Knifewing Native American Sterling Turquoise Onyx Necklace

Presented is a quality Native American sterling silver necklace.  The necklace has a large pendant of Knifewing, a traditional Zuni deity, made of sterling silver and inlaid with turquoise, onyx, coral, and mother of pearl.  The pendant is strung on a handmade chain of sterling silver links.  The pendant has a pin back so that it can be removed from the chain and worn as a pin.  The necklace was made in the Southwest USA, almost certainly by a Zuni silversmith. The necklace is marked with Sterling and a maker’s mark on the clasp.   The condition is excellent.  There are no dents, no dings, no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The necklace is 21 ½ inches long.  The Knifewing pendant measures 1 3/8 by 1 7/8 inches. The weight is 15.6 grams.
