Mustard Tile

Mustard Talavera Tile A 4 inch solid hand-painted Talavera Tile in a mustard color. This is a solid yellow golden clay tile. It has some dark salt and pepper spots all the way inside it. This tile is excellent for complete walls like in a bathroom as a field tile. The second picture is an example of what can be done with it. It is shown with the Mendoza Clay Talavera Tile. In the manufacturing process the whole tile is painted in white as a first step and then the rest of the tile is painted on top of the white one. Being hand-painted, this means that no two tiles are exactly alike! Color changes are particularly notorious from lot to lot, because of the natural variations in glaze and the mixtures used in their creation. No two tiles are exactly the same, and will vary slightly in color and shape. If you are concerned about the color variations, we recommend ordering 1 or 2 for examples before ordering a larger quantity.
