Antique Blue Trade Bead Egg Yolk Millefiori Necklace

Striking antique necklace composed of Blue & Yellow African Trade Beads. The necklace features authentic glass millefiori or mosaic tube beads in a design often called Egg Yolk. The glass beads have blue and white stripes with yellow eyes ringed by rust and white. The are a round cylinder shape with flat ends with a black core. They were made in Italy and later traded to Africa. The beads are very nicely matched and are strung on a cotton cord. It is large enough to slip over your head.
