ESZ Mini Z 2.4 m / 8 ft Tenkara RodThe ESZ Mini Z 2.4 m (8 ft) is our shortest, lightest, and most compact Tenkara rod to date. Developed in response to strong customer demand for an ultralight 8-foot-class rod, it is the result of two years of design refinement and on-the-water testing.Because ESZ designs to metric standards, the true extended length is 2.4 m, which corresponds to approximately 7.8 ft.With a 3:7 action (Japanese rating 7:3), the Mini Z delivers a very fast, crisp, and responsive feel. It is purpose-built for tight, overgrown small creeks and is especially well-suited for chasing brook trout and other small-stream species.Instead of a traditional cork grip, the Mini Z uses a tapered handle section with a textured hard anti-slip coating.
