Teka Handwoven Ethiopian Cotton Towel

These towels are handwoven, Fair Trade and eco friendly. You may know them as hammam towels or foutahs. They are great for the bathroom but also for the beach, the pool, as a small table cloth, or a picnic blanket or even a small throw. The classic design and super soft feel even make for lovely baby blankets. The towels are made from hand spun Ethiopian cotton on our traditional looms. The traditional Ethiopian hand looms make a beautiful flat weave that is light weight, machine washable, durable and quick to dry. They are finished with hand tied fringes. This collection is named after one of Sabahar's talented weavers, who has worked for the company for many years and is now a Weaving Supervisor.
